Septic Tank Maintenance Log – Septic, Well Water, Propane, Generator & Firewood Tracker with Next-Due Dates, Excel, No Canva
Septic, Well & Propane Log is a septic tank maintenance log and utility tracker for Excel and Google Sheets, made for cabins, farm stays and country homes that run on their own systems. It records septic pumping and inspections, well water tests and filter changes, propane fills, generator hours and firewood, then tells you what is due next and what it all costs per month.
Why it is different: a pool log tracks water chemistry and a utility tracker records metered bills. This workbook is for the systems nobody bills you for: it works out the next septic pumping date, the next water test, how many days of propane are left, when the generator needs service and when to reorder firewood.
No Canva needed. This is a plain spreadsheet with no macros and no add-ons. Yellow cells are for typing and gray cells hold the formulas. It works in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers.
Safety: if you smell propane or gas, leave the building, then call your supplier or the emergency number. Follow local health-department rules for wells and septic systems. Template only: intervals are examples.

FAQ
Do I need Canva? No, this is an Excel file.
Does it use calendar years? No. Sample dates are formulas based on today, so the file never goes out of date.
Can I change the intervals? Yes. Every interval is a yellow cell: type the months or hours your pumper, lab or dealer recommends.
Does it work in Google Sheets? Yes. Upload the file and open it with Google Sheets. The formulas avoid add-in functions.
